Agile-Lean Ireland Expands to create Agile-Lean International with its first international conference taking place in Frankfurt, Germany. The ALI team is now excited to announce that they will be hosting an Agile-Lean International global community event in Frankfurt, Germany on November 27th! The Agile-Lean international Conference will feature the best local community speakers in addition to some of the very best speakers on Agile and Lean in the world. 

Dedicated to spreading Agile and Lean learnings and experience to the Irish and international community over the past four years it has experienced unprecedented success since its inception in 2015 with just 30 delegates attending the first Agile Lean Ireland event to 1500+ delegates in April 2019. With the continued success of Agile-Lean Ireland’s annual community-led conference, recognized the need to expand the conference to an international stage which will become a reality this November as Agile-Lean International will host its inaugural conference in Frankfurt, Germany on November 27th  with keynote speaker, Jonathan Smart, who was a lead in one of the largest banking Agile transformations in the world at Barclays, and is a world-renowned keynote speaker.

The Agile-Lean International Conference 2019 will feature the best local community speakers in addition to some of the very best speakers on Agile and Lean in the world. Promising to connect communities with world-class local and international speakers. ALI Frankfurt will be organised by the community for the community, just like the previous events in Ireland.and will include talks and workshops on;

·      Agile in banking and insurance 

·      Agile leadership

·      Scaling agile

·      Scrum

·      Kanban 

·      Agile product management

·      Agile development and testing

·      Agile in HR and many more

This one day event will take place at Le Méridien Frankfurt, Germany on 27 th  November and will welcome 150 delegates working in Executive Leadership, Project and Program Managers, Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, Business Analysts, Consultants, Developers, HR Leadership, Marketers, Product Managers, Software Testers and Recruiters. 

The conference will feature the cream of International and Irish speakers, with a mix of talks, workshops, coaches clinic and lightning talks. Delegates will hear stories – from the numerous fantastic speakers in the community – of how to achieve success and rise to the top through learning from adversity.

Joanna Koprowicz, spokesperson, said of the growth of Agile-Lean Ireland to form Agile-Lean International, “Our goal as a community is to help grow knowledge for: Leaders, Agile/Lean Coaches, Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Project Managers, UX Designers, Developers, Testers, and those working outside software development areas, such as HR and Marketing.”

What is Agile-Lean Ireland?

Agile-Lean Ireland (ALI) is the fastest-growing event in Agile-Lean space in Europe and was recommended as one of the best Agile-Lean conferences globally by Tech Beacon in 2018 and 2019. ALI believe in the power of connecting communities from around the world, many of whom are facing similar challenges on their path to agility. Those who attend can use this as an opportunity tonetwork with Agile & Lean practitioners, speakers and leaders fromaround the world to share learnings and create new connections.

ALI Frankfurt will be organised by the community for the community, just like previous events in Ireland. 

Agile-Lean International 2020 (#ALI2020) is expected to be even bigger. After Agile-Lean International Frankfurt (#ALIFRA), the ALI team hopes to hold more community events around the globe.  

Who is Joanna Koprowicz?

Joanna Koprowicz is the spokesperson and an organiser for Agile-Lean International she has extensive experience in coordinating agile and lean events throughout Europe. She is a 40-year-old agile and lean consultant at Allianz Technology, originally from Warsaw, Poland now living in Dublin 13, Ireland. In the past, she has led key initiatives including digital transformations and the development of agile teams. Her expertise includes, lean process improvement customer experiences, and Agile HR. She is also a graduate of the UCD Michael Smurfit business school with a MSc in Project Management.

Who is Jonathan Smart?

Business Agility Lead at Deloitte – Keynote Speaker

Jon leads Deloitte’s Enterprise Agility practice in the UK, helping organisations to deliver Better Value Sooner Safer Happier, through the application of agile & lean principles and practices, organisation-wide.

Previously, Jon was leading on Ways of Working globally across Barclays Bank, which is 328 years old, with 80,000 colleagues in 40 countries. After three years, teams are on average delivering three times as much in a third of the time with 23x fewer production incidents and the highest ever employee engagement scores.

Jon has 25 years’ experience of taking and leading an agile approach to change. He and his team is the winner in the category of “Best Internal Agile Team” at the Agile Awards 2016.

Jon is the founder of the Enterprise Agility Leaders Network, is a member of the Disciplined Agile advisory council, a member of the Business Agility Institute advisory council, a member of the Programming Committee for the DevOps Enterprise Summit, a guest speaker at London Business School and talks at 6-7 conferences a year

Agile Lean Ireland

A community led, comprised of volunteers from local Agile meetups and user groups, dedicated to spreading learning in Agile. As a conference, their goal is to help spread knowledge for

Agile/Lean Coaches, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Leaders and Developers. With backgrounds varying from Scrum Masters, to Agile Coaches, to Product Owners, to Developers, to Designers. What they share is a passion to advance the state of the art in Agile, and create spaces for people with the same passion as us to get together to share.

Agile-Lean Ireland have been organising Meetups, Workshops, speaking at conferences, and independent Agile events for over four years and are excited to create a conference with the best of international and Irish thought leaders in the Agile-Lean world.
